Starting in the new year the Shelby County Republican Party is going to need volunteers to staff our headquarters. While the times for the headquarters to be open has not been set yet we are looking for those who might be interested.

A Blueprint for Becoming Red Again

On November 4th, voters all across America came out in record numbers and told us they want our country to go in a new direction. It was painful to watch the election-night electoral map where several traditional “red states” like Florida and Ohio turned blue, and some blue states became even bluer. It was hard to imagine that the electoral count was 364 to 163.

Shelby County Republican Party Holds Steering Committee Elections for Upcoming Election Cycle

The Shelby County Republican Executive Committee Meeting will meet on November 11, 2008 at the Shelby County Services Building in Pelham, Alabama.

The Steering Committee will convene at 5:30pm in the same location.

Well folks, this is it! We are 8 weeks out from the election, we have just opened our campaign headquarters, and we need volunteers!!! We are planning an aggressive calendar of volunteer activities, detailed below, and we need anyone and everyone who is willing to help out. Each volunteer activity will include all of the instruction a volunteer needs to do their job effectively and efficiently. For example, with phone calling, we will have a trainer at the beginning of each session for first-timers, we will have a script, and we will have contact lists.
